I met Sam in 2000. after a year doing our foundation in art and design we planned to drive across America. a few things got in the way but one thing at the time occurred to me. Sam didn’t have a driving license and therefore I would be driving him across America. this didn’t really work for me but I promised him that when he was legally able to drive we would go on the trip. He has passed his test and can and does drive and on the odd occasion it comes up in conversation. So I intend to stick to that promise I made 24 years ago and make this happen.
